These Are The Top Suburban Philly High Schools, New Ranking Says
Philadelphia Magazine has released its annual assessment of the best high schools in the region.
PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia-area schools are facing possibly the toughest teaching challenge they have ever faced amid the coronavirus pandemic, forcing most to provide digital learning alternatives.
Philadelphia Magazine recently published its list of the 40 Top-Rated Public High Schools in Philadelphia and the Suburbs.
The magazine used the data from the Pennsylvania and New Jersey departments of education and the National Center for Education Statistics to look at factors such as enrollment, student-teacher ratio, SAT scores, and students who go on to attend college, among other factors.

The list features 40 schools, 15 of which are located in the city. The remaining 25 are all suburban schools in Delaware, Chester, Bucks, and Montgomery counties, as well as New Jersey.
