Wawa Hiring Push Seeks 5,000 New Workers This Spring

Positions that need to be filled include store-level customer-service, supervisory and management-level positions.

WAWA, PA — Wawa is looking to bring on hundreds of new workers over the next few months as part of an annual spring hiring push.

The company recently said it is launching its first annual hiring campaign of the year.

Wawa is aiming to hiring 5,000 new workers through Memorial Day Weekend.

Jobs available are store-level customer-service, supervisory and management-level positions.

New hires in certain positions will be offered a bonus of $125 starting April 1 and ending June 15 to be paid after the 90th day of work.

Wawa says workers hired in full and part-time positions get competitive salaries, flexible schedules and, when eligible, health benefits and tuition reimbursement opportunities.

In addition, all Wawa workers receive a free hot or cold Shorti Hoagie per shift and get discounts through the "Associate Menu."

Wawa is also offering a $75 incentive for worker that get the coronavirus vaccine.

The new positions are the result of seasonal and store growth across Wawa’s operating area, which includes more than 650 stores located in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, and Washington DC and 210 stores in Florida.
