West Chester Pike Lanes Closing Weekdays Through Dec 23

PECO utility work will close lanes on West Chester Pike in Newtown Township through late December during weekdays, PennDOT said.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A portion of West Chester Pike in Newtown Township will have lanes closed due to PECO utility work, PennDOT said.

Weekday lane closures will affect West Chester Pike/Route 3 traffic through Wednesday, Dec. 23.

Each day during the week, lanes on West Chester Pike will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The affected portion of West Chester Pike is between St. Albans Road and Winding Way.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
