How should Christians respond to Black Lives Matter?
Question isn't whether BLM is violent/non-violent, racist/non-racist, political/non-political, it's how should Christians respond to BLM??
I think it’s important based on all of the recent headlines related to racism and social injustice to provide my thoughts concerning BLM. I will be straightforward about how my spiritual convictions guide me on these issues!
I am called to proclaim the Gospel (Ephesians 2:8-10), engage my community, defend the truth (2 Timothy 2:15), stand against racism in all sinful forms (Galatians 3:28) and stand for the inherent value of all human life (Genesis 1:17). I recognize that some Christians throughout the history of the church have attempted to take over the Gospel message for racist causes.
I affirm the belief that Black Lives Do Matter. My personal experience as a father, grandfather and throughout my many years of employment is all human lives are sacred, whatever their race, creed or color.

I believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross to purchase salvation for every human being, who will accept Him as their Lord and Savior (John 3:16).
In the midst of the very emotional/political debate it’s important to seek and bring greater understanding to racism and the Word of God; keeping in mind the work of Satan (James 4:7).

I affirm that BLM as part of a larger group and that all human lives are sacred. I vigorously speak against BLM because their beliefs oppose my Christian faith and the Word of God. BLM promotes an anti-biblical definition of love, freedom and justice, as well as opposing the nuclear family, including aborting more than 20+ million black babies (Jeremiah 1:5; Psalm 139:13-16; Proverbs 24:11-12) and are self admittedly Marxist.
I have fundamental disagreements with BLM’s moral, cultural and political agenda. I will not say BLM; I don’t want to be misunderstood as supporting their godless agenda.
I agree that the evil of racism still exists in America. Racism plagues every nation because this disgusting form of sinful human pride is common to the fallen human condition (Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:23). I am committed to fighting the corruption (2 Peter 2:19) and darkness of racism (Isaiah 60:1-3) with the salt of the law and the light of the Gospel (Matthew 5:13-16), understanding that all of us are part of the one human race (Genesis 1: 26-28).
While many well-meaning people who protest peacefully, with signs proclaiming BLM, are being mislead; it’s a challenge for all of us to either follow God’s word or follow the world. Life will take a lot of twist and turns, always look to Jesus; as the Bible tells us: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
