STAR PARTY CAMPFIRE
Explore the nighttime sky during a summer campfire program Friday at Churchville Nature Center. “Weather permitting we will view constellations, and other celestial wonders with both our naked eye and a telescope. Star finder charts will be available for use. A campfire and marshmallows will finish off the night,” Churchville Nature Center says on its website. Click here for details.
NEW HOPE FILM FEST
The annual film festival in New Hope kicks off Friday and will feature a variety of films at the New Hope Arts Center. ”The festival’s core mission is to discover and nurture independent filmmakers, many of whom are seeking world and U.S. debuts and remain overlooked and/or underappreciated by other forums. This broad and inclusive group includes filmmakers from outside the United States. With the exception of special events, this film festival is a competition,” the film fest website says. DOYLESTOWN SIDEWALK SALE
Merchants throughout downtown Doylestown will host the 6th Annual Sidewalk Sale this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. THE WOLFPACK
This critically-acclaimed documentary opens Friday at the County Theatre. The film was awarded the 2015 Sundance Grand Jury Prize. “Locked away from society and home schooled in an apartment on the Lower East Side, which they are literally prohibited from leaving by their father, the six Angulo brothers learn about the outside world through the films that they watch. Nicknamed the Wolfpack, the brothers spend their childhood re-enacting their favorite films.” Click here for showtimes.

PEACHES AT THE MARKET
Peaches have arrived at the Wrightstown Farmers Market, 2203 Second Street Pike, Newtown. There will be a guest chef, kids activities and local author and illustrator, Kim Kurki, will sign her first book, “National Wildlife Federation’s World of Birds: A Beginner’s Guide.” Acoustic Tide will perform in the music tent. The market is held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
