Army Flag Placed for 1st Lt. Jacob Sweed

90th resident honored under the program since 2003

There was an Army flag placement for deployed Northampton Township resident 1st Lt. Jacob Sweed at the October 23, 2019 Board of Supervisors meeting by his mother Margot Sweed and father Bob Sweed. Sweed is the 90th resident to be honored with a service flag since the program began on April 23, 2003. On hand for the presentation were members of the Patriot Detachment 1230 Marine Corps League, Veterans Advisory Commission members, Kevin Bomgarzoni for PA State Representative Wendi Thomas, Nick Diasio for PA State Senator Tommy Tomlinson and Kyle Melander for Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick.
