Bridge On Old Jacksonville Road Reopens
The bridge that carries Old Jacksonville Road over the Little Neshaminy Creek in Northampton Township has reopened.

The bridge that carries Old Jacksonville Road over the Little Neshaminy Creek in Northampton Township has reopened. The bridge had been closed since October.
A Friday ribbon cutting event was attended by Bucks County Commissioner Charles Martin Northampton Township Supervisor Eileen Silver, and Bucks County Director of Operation Kevin Spencer.
The $592,000 rehabilitation project included installation of approach guide rails, concrete repairs to the beams and underside, stone masonry repairs and repointing of the abutments.

“We are pleased to reopen this bridge for the residents of Northampton Township and the many motorists who use Old Jacksonville Road,” Martin said. “There is some beautiful scenery involved with this creek and the surrounding neighborhood. We will continue to rehabilitate our county owned bridges as needed through the remainder of 2018 and beyond.”
Professional Construction Contractors of Bethlehem completed the construction. Engineering and design was done by Gilmore and Associates of New Britain.
