Bucks County Animal Organization To Host 'Enchanted Evening With Wildlife'

Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center will host its annual gala fundraiser later this month.

An Enchanted Evening with Wildlife will be held Feb. 25 at Rose Bank Winery in Newtown. All proceeds from the evening event directly benefit Aark's rescue and rehabilitation efforts for injured and orphaned wildlife.

The event begins at 6 p.m. with a champagne preview, followed by the gala from 7 to 9 p.m. The night will feature Rose Bank wines and catering by Just Food, musical entertainment by James Lauchner, animal encounters and a silent auction.

Tickets are $90 per person. V.I.P. tickets, which include the one-hour champagne preview are $130 per person or $250 per couple. Tickets are available at www.aark.org.

"Aark is a one-of-a-kind, non-profit organization staffed largely by volunteers and funded solely by donations. Each year, Aark cares for more than 5,000 injured and orphaned animals, making it the busiest wildlife rehabilitation center in the Delaware Valley, and one of the busiest on the East Coast. Animals treated at the Aark include deer, raccoons, foxes, squirrels, turtles, bats and groundhogs, and birds of all sizes, including owls, hawks and other birds of prey," according to the organization.

Spring is the busiest time at Aark, the organization says. That's when hundreds of injured and orphaned baby animals are brought in needing intensive care. "An Enchanted Evening with Wildlife is the organization's most important fundraiser of the year, and sponsorship opportunities are still available to help purchase the special milk, food and medical supplies vital to Aark's mission," an event announcement said.

Rose Bank Winery is located at 258 Durham Rd, Newtown.
