During the three-episode tournament, 12 junior chefs will compete to create unique dishes. The winner of each episode will receive $10,000 and advance to the finale, where they will take a seat behind the judges’ table.

During the tournament finale, the junior judges will decide the fates of Chopped stars Amanda Freitag, Alex Guarnaschelli, Marcus Samuelsson and Chris Santos as they compete for $25,000 for charity, according to information from Food Network.

Not surprisingly, Arjun loves to cook, his mom says, noting he prepares dishes well beyond simple kid favorites like mac and cheese. "He would make creme brulee all by himself from scratch. He would make mussels," said his mom, Lisa.

Arjun has traveled with his family a lot, his mom says, and his cooking style reflects an international style. His signature dish, for example, is shrimp risotto.
