Man In Northampton Arrested In Stolen Car: Police
A computer system identified the Nissan as having been stolen out of Philadelphia, according to Northampton Police.

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Northampton arrested a man Monday after they say a computer system showed he was driving a stolen car.
Police officer were in a patrol car with a license-plate reader system in the area of Newtown-Richboro Road and Township Road Monday when Emmanuel Lawrence Toga Dennis, 24, drove past in a silver Nissan Versa.
Police say the system alerted officers that the Versa was a car stolen out of Philadelphia. They began following it as the status was confirmed by the National Crime Information Center.

Once it was verified as stole, officers conducted a felony stop at Almshouse Road and Spencer Road. Dennis was taken into custody without incident and is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, receiving stolen property and driving without a license.
The car was taken to a secure towing facility and the owner was notified, police said.
