One man was arrested on weapons and harassment charges Wednesday, while the other was charged with drug possession and lying to police.
NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Two men were arrested on drug, weapon and other charges Wednesday morning after a Northampton woman reported being threatened by one of them.
Officers were called at about 9 a.m. Wednesday to an address on Tinari Drive, where a woman reported that a man she knows had parked in her driveway and she wanted him to leave.
They arrived and made contact with Austin Carter, 32, who they say had an AR-style rifle leaning on the driver-side center console area of the car. He was arrested on charges of harassment, possessing an instrument of crime and possessing a firearm when he was not supposed to have one.
