More Lane Closures Next Week On I-95 In Bucks Co., Expect Delays

More lane closures are planned on I-95 in Bucks County next week. Here is the schedule:

More lane closures are planned on I-95 in Bucks County next week as crews work to repair and resurface 13 miles of the roadway in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield.

Lane closures are scheduled in both directions between the Academy Road and Route 332 (Newtown Yardley) exits. Crews will be doing bridge deck repair, and patching and paving operations as part of the $29.6 million project.

  • Monday, May 21, through Thursday, May 24, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, double lane closures will be in place on northbound I-95 between the Route 132 (Street Road) and Route 413 (Bristol) interchanges.
  • Monday, May 21, through Thursday, May 24, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, a single right lane closure will be in place on northbound I-95 between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Route 332 (Newtown Yardley) interchanges.
  • Monday, May 21, through Thursday, May 24, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, double lane closures will be in place on northbound I-95 from just north of the Academy Road Interchange to the Route 132 (Street Road) Interchange.

In addition to the overnight lane closures, a center lane closure will remain in place through late May on northbound I-95 between Route 132 and the Neshaminy Creek Bridge.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 in the work areas because significant backups and delays will occur. The work schedule is dependent on the weather.
