Neighbors Helping After Christmas House Fire In Northampton
The fire, in the Holland section, happened around noon on Christmas Day.

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Neighbors in Northampton Township are rallying around a family whose home was badly damaged in a fire on Christmas Day.
According to Northampton Township Police, the fire happened shortly after noon on Christmas Day, on the 400 block of Rocksville Road in the Holland section.
The Beisel family — Dan and Dianna and their two children, ages 15 and 8 — had all of their belongings and clothing destroyed in the fire, according to a fundraiser that's been set up to help them out after the blaze.

Kristin Fullerton, a neighbor, wrote on the fundraiser's Web page that, despite what happened, the family has asked for nothing in the wake of the fire.
"Knowing Dianna, she will not be happy that I am doing this, but so many wonderful people are reaching out to me and asking what they can do to help," Fullerton wrote.

The GoFundMe campaign for the Beisel family had raised $4,860 as of Friday afternoon.

In her post on GoFundMe, Fullerton praised the fire companies that responded to the blaze and thanked those who have reached out to help.
"I am blown away at the love in our community from total strangers," she wrote. "This is what community love is all about, and we need to take care of our neighbors."
