Northampton Police Seeking Package Thieves [Video]

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Northampton Township are on the lookout for someone taking advantage of all the packages being delivered during the holiday season.

On Friday, police shared security camera video of a woman stealing a package off of a porch on Addis Avenue. That came a day after they announced a similar theft in the area off of Hatboro Road and Tanyard Road.

The woman shown in Friday's video matches the description of the person described in the previous day's post.

Police say it appears that the thieves are following delivery vehicles. More than one thefts happened within minutes of deliveries being made, they said.

They believe the thieves are driving a red Nissan with primer paint on the front fender. The woman from the video is described as a black female, standing about 5'4" with braided hair.

Anyone in the area with outside cameras that may have captured images of the thieves is asked to contact police.
