Opioid Training, Free Narcan At Northampton Library
The event is set for Monday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

NORTHAMPTON, PA — Free opioid-addiction awareness training and Narcan, a drug that can prevent opioid overdoses, will be available Monday evening in Northampton.
The training and giveaway is set for 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday at the Free Library of Northampton Township. The program is funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.
From 6:30-7 p.m., the program will connect participants with services available to individuals and families struggling with drug addiction. From 7-7:30 p.m. will be training on how to administer Narcan and, from 7:30-8 p.m. will be emergency response training, followed by a question-and-answer session.

The library is located at 25 Upper Holland Rd. in Richboro.
