Police Make Progress In Northampton Package Theft Case
The thieves appeared to be following delivery trucks in Northampton Township, stealing packages, police said.

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Northampton said over the weekend that they've made "a substantial step" in solving a rash of package thefts in the community.
The thefts happened on Thursday, Dec. 12. According to police, it appeared the thieves were following delivery trucks. At least some of the thefts happened minutes after deliveries were made.
On Friday, police shared security camera video of a woman stealing a package off of a porch on Addis Avenue. That came a day after they announced a similar theft in the area off of Hatboro Road and Tanyard Road.
