Public Hearing On Rolling Hills Elementary Closure Rescheduled
The hearing regarding the potential closure of Rolling Hills Elementary will now be held Sept. 19.

The public hearing on the proposed closure of Rolling Hills Elementary School will now be held Sept. 19. The hearing was original scheduled for Sept. 12 but was rescheduled.
It begins at 7 p.m. at The Chancellor Center.
Following the hearing, there will be a three-month waiting period before the school board can take a formal vote on the closure of the school.

The proposal, which has been verbally supported by a majority of the board during capital planning discussions over the summer, would close Rolling Hills Elementary School effective for the 2019-20 school year.
There will be an opportunity for public comment during the hearing.
