Swamp Road To Close Saturday For Pipe Replacement

WRIGHTSTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A portion of Swamp Road in Wrightstown Township will be closed on Saturday as crews work to replace a water pipe there.

The closure will be from 6 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday between Rushland Road and Mill Creek Road, PennDOT announced Wednesday.

During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Rushland Road, Almshouse Road and Rt. 232 (2nd Street Pike). Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone, PennDOT said.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the construction area because delays are expected to occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
