Non-stop Music Stages @ the VRF
Ken Hone, Founder & Faire Director is always trying to give attendees more, for less than anywhere else
More for less, is often a question posed to Ken Hone, and his answer is simple. Its all about the love for his mom and the love she instilled in him about being part of a community. Raised by a single mom, raising three kids, but always finding FUN for little or no cost, he grew up valuing affordability for ALL.
The 19th Village Renaissance Faire reflects this in so many ways. It offers aerialists, artisans, birds of prey, firebreathers, human chess, jousters, living history, trebuchet launchings, and even pyrates. But thats not all as their are over 40 music and dance shows daily, as well as a wealth of activities for the wee ones. The list of free activities is impressive with a soccer field sized Kids Kingdom, crafts, marionettes, pyrate's port, story-times, puppet shows, and dragon-sized games. There a nominal charges for animal activities like a petting zoo, pony rides, carriage rides, as well as all-day passes for inflatables. The Royal Court will also be looking for good acts so they can knight as many wee ones as possible.
Its one weekend only, and it is this weekend on our Middletown Fairgrounds. And it is only $10 for adults, $5 for students, under 5 are FREE.
