Washington Crossing Park Announces Fall Photo Contest

The Friends of Washington Crossing Park is hosting "Capture the Park" photo contest during October.

Calling all Bucks County photographers: you have a local challenge.

The Friends of Washington Crossing Park is hosting “Capture the Park” photo contest next month.

According to the contest rules:

  • Photos may depict anything at the park—buildings, foliage, animals, people or events—but must be taken between Oct. 1 and 31.
  • Photos should be emailed as an attachment to info@washingtoncrossingpark.org and include the photographer’s name and a brief caption.
  • All entries must be received before Nov. 1 and only one photo is allowed per entrant.

An independent panel of judges will select the top 10 photos out of all the entries. These 10 photos will be displayed in the park’s Visitor Center starting in November and also posted on the park’s Facebook page.

The photographer whose photo earns the most “likes” on Facebook will win a $50 gift certificate to the Washington Crossing Inn and be named “Best of Show.”

By emailing a photo to the park, entrants give the Friends of Washington Crossing Park consent to repurpose and distribute the photo for promotion purposes.
