Weekday Closure Of ​Bristol Road Starts Monday

​Bristol Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Rt. 232 and Churchville Road starting Monday and going through April 6.

Bristol Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Second Street Pike (Rt. 232) and Churchville Road in Upper Southampton and Northampton townships starting Monday, March 26, PennDOT announced.

The closure will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through April 6 and is needed for pipe removal as part of a broader project to resurface area roads.

Bristol Road drivers will be directed to use Second Street Pike, Street Road and Churchville Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this work zone because slowdowns will occur during construction, PennDOT said.

The work schedule is dependent on the weather.

The work on Bristol Road is part of a project to repair and resurface 12 miles of state highway in Bucks County.
