Yoga In The Park, Giant Ice Cream Sundae, Fireworks In Newtown: This Weekend In Bucks County

Looking for something fun to do this weekend in Bucks County? Here are five ideas:

Newtown First Fourth

Festivities include a variety of activities and food, followed by evening fireworks at Newtown Middle School, 116 Richboro Rd, Newtown. The celebration starts at 3 p.m. with a children’s bounce area, food court, vendors and more. Fireworks begin around 9:30 p.m. Click here for more details.

Make a Giant Ice Cream Sundae

We’re not joking. Head to the Wrightstown Farmers Market on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help make a giant ice cream sundae. Plus, this week there will also be butter making and live music. The market offers local produce, meat, dairy products and more. It is held at 2203 Second Street Pike (Wrightstown Township Municipal Building parking lot.)

Yoga in the Park

Twisted Tree Yoga Co. will be hosting an outdoor yoga class at Tyler State Park Saturday at 9 a.m. The cost is $10 and 10 percent of proceeds to be donated to Tyler State Park. Click here for more details.

Tinicum Arts Festival

The 66th annual Tinicum Arts Festival will be held at Tinicum Park along the Delaware River both Saturday and Sunday. The event features more than 300 artists, plus authors, live entertainment, children’s activities, food and more. The cost is for $7 adults, $1 for children.
