100 Snakes, Other Exotic Animals Seized From Montco Home: Reports
Snakes, alligators, giant turtles, and more were reportedly seized from a Montgomery County home Thursday.

UPPER HANOVER, PA — More than one hundred snakes, along with alligators, giant turtles, and other animals were reportedly seized from a Montgomery County home Thursday, sources state.
The home on the 1100 block of Station Road in Upper Hanover Township was raided by a crew of state police and animal rescue officers, WFMZ69 reports.
Authorities said the owners of the home were the same couple that owned a home in Macungie where another 100 animals were rescued from a severe hoarding situation on Monday, according to The Morning Call.

Officials reportedly said that rooms in the house were covered in animal feces. In addition to the snakes, there were several alligators, skunks, ferrets, turtles, and guinea pigs.
Rescue officers carried the animals out of the home in dozens of cages. Some of the animals inside the home were dead, reports state, while others were severely malnourished.
