Minor injuries in one crash; suspected drug paraphernalia found following traffic stop

Collegeville Woman Loses Control of Car, Hits Tree
A Collegeville woman suffered minor injuries after the car she was driving hit a tree, Sunday, Feb. 12.
Gatrina Nolan, 19, was driving north on Kagey Road, approaching the intersection of Forge Road, in Perkiomen Township. Nolan lost control of the 1993 Volvo 900 she was driving, traveling to the left side of the road and striking a tree. The car suffered heavy front-end damage, and Jack Nolan Exxon Towing took the car from the scene.
Nolan will not be cited in connection with the crash.

Driver Cited Following One-Car Crash
Police are citing a Collegeville man for reportedly violating the vehicle code from driving on roads laned for traffic following a one-car crash into a pole, Tuesday, Feb. 14.
According to a Pennsylvania State Police report, Brian McMonagle, 27, was traveling west on Route 73 in Skippack, near Kerr Road, when his Kia Sorrento went off the right side of the road and hit an embankment. The car continued to travel west and then the front end hit a utility pole, the report states.
Neither McMonagle nor his passenger, a 4-year-old boy, was injured.

Schwenksville Teen to Face Drug Paraphernalia Possession Charges
A 19-year-old Schwenksville man was found in possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop Tuesday morning, Feb. 14, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report.
Police said Shawn Michael Burns was stopped on Route 29, north of Route 73, and an investigation yielded the discovery. Charges will be filed in District Court 38-1-24, according to the reports.
