Burglary at Moccia’s Train Stop

A police report does not indicate a conviction. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Police are investigating a break-in at Moccia’s Train Stop that occurred around 2 a.m. Feb. 16. Nothing was stolen, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
The burglar (or burglars) unsuccessfully attempted to pry open the back door, and then used an unknown object to smash a window in the southeast corner of the building, police said.  The unknown person (or people) then entered the Gravel Pike business.
An alarm was activated, and the burglar(s) fled through the broken window.
Troopers at the scene lifted partial shoe prints off the broken glass, according to correspondence from Pennsylvania State Police, and there was “a powdery mark just inside the window on a boot that looked as if it might have been left by latex gloves.”

Skippack Woman Reports Identity Theft
An unknown person (or people) posed as a Skippack woman and acquired a mobile phone account in her name, a Pennsylvania State Police report stated.
Four phone lines were opened and charges were acquired, police said.

Lower Frederick Boy’s Bicycle Stolen from Lawn
Lower Frederick Police are investigating a bicycle theft that occurred in the 200 block of Goshen Road, Feb. 2, shortly before 7 p.m.
According to a police report, a boy had left the bike on the lawn while visiting a friend, and an unknown person (or people) swiped the item.
The bike is a red and white Fit BMX and is valued at $400, police said.
