Chesterbrook Academy in Collegeville Donates to Local Food Pantry

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Collegeville recently donated nearly 500 nonperishable food and toiletry items to Daily Bread Community Food Pantry, which works to eliminate hunger in the Perkiomen area by providing residents in need with programs that provide food, promote the value of nutrition, increase self-sufficiency and instill hope. At the end of the collection, students helped count the donations and prepare them for delivery to the organization.

In addition to their donation to Daily Bread Community Food Pantry, students held a gift drive for Toys For Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve that provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each holiday season. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of giving back and helping others in their community.
