Chesterbrook Academy in Collegeville Donates to Local Food Pantry

Students and winter campers at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Collegeville recently donated more than 200 nonperishable food items and toiletries to Daily Bread Community Food Pantry. Over the past month, Chesterbrook Academy held a donation drive to help stock the organization’s shelves and provide meals and other necessities to local families in need. At the end of the collection, the children counted the donations and prepared them for delivery to the organization. Through this initiative, students and campers learned the importance of giving back and helping others in their community.

Daily Bread Community Food Pantry works to eliminate hunger in the Perkiomen area by providing residents in need with programs that provide food, promote the value of nutrition, increase self-sufficiency and instill hope.
