Local Emergency Crews Respond to Report of Car in Schuylkill
An unoccupied vehicle was found in the river near Royersford just after 5 p.m.

Rescue units staged at Arch Street and First Avenue in Royersford on Wednesday evening for the report of a vehicle in the Schuylkill River, according to multiple reports.
Royersford, Linfield and Black Rock Fire responded to the scene with rescue boats just after 5:30 p.m., according to the Royersford Fire Department; the vehicle is now resting down river near the water treatment plant in Upper Providence Township, according to the Pottstown Mercury.
The vehicle was reportedly unoccupied, and police are investigating the incident how the vehicle got into the water.
