Former Chief Of Perkiomen Township Fire Company Passes Away
Services have been scheduled for John Moran Sr., the former Perkiomen Township Fire Chief and a beloved public servant.
PERKIOMEN TOWNSHIP, PA — John Moran Sr., the former Perkiomen Township Fire Company Fire Chief and a beloved public servant, has passed away, the fire company announced.
Moran was fire chief for 20 years, and had been working with the fire company for 53 years. He had also been an employee of the township since 1981, and served as the fire marshal since 2001, according to the company.
A funeral is set for Saturday, Sept. 2, at St. Eleanor's Church in Collegeville.

A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by services at 11 a.m.
Following the mass, there will be a procession to Limerick Garden Memories.
