Jim Perkins, Public Information Officer for Muddy Angels, said most of the EMS workers they ride for have suffered a cardiac arrest while on duty.

The East Coast ride is an annual event and Perkins said the riders always stop at a Second Alarmers Station in the area. This is the first time they have stopped at the Whitpain SARS station.
