Hundreds Show Up To Montco Candlelight Vigil In Response To Nazi Flyers
Hundreds of residents gathered in Montgomery County Sunday night in response to the recent mass mailing of personalized Nazi flyers.

PENNSBURG, PA — Hundreds showed up to a candlelight vigil on Sunday that was a response to the Nazi flyers that showed up in the mailboxes of homes in several Montgomery County towns last week.
The vigil was held at Pennsburg Square, the intersection of Route 29 and Route 663 in Pennsburg at around 6:15 p.m., and was organized by East Penn Hill News.
Although organizers only expected around 50 people to show up, they were overwhelmed with the response from the community. They estimated that closer to 400 people attended the gathering.

The vigil, dubbed One Valley United, aimed to emphasize peace and unity in the Pennsburg area in the wake of the hate mailings last week.
The flyers appeared in mailboxes in several towns, including Red Hill, East Greenville, and Upper Perkiomen, police said.

Some of the flyers appeared to be personalized, addressed to specific residents based on home decorations or characteristics.
Both local police and the Pennsylvania State Police, while aware of the issue, do not appear to be investigating further. The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said that distributing the flyers does not represent a hate crime or any kind of illegal activity.
