I am writing to support Judy Lofton as a write-in candidate for the position of School Board Director for the Perkiomen Valley School District. I have worked directly with Judy on school committees on the Elementary and Middle School levels, and have seen first-hand how dedicated she is to our students and teachers. Judy and her family are very active in our community; my daughter was in Judy’s Girl Scout Troop for many years, and her husband Charles has coached my children in recreational sports. Their family can be seen at most community and school events, enthusiastically helping to ensure their success.

I approached Judy earlier this year, specifically asking her to consider running for a seat on our School Board. With children in Elementary, Middle and High School, she understands what our children need to be successful learners, and knows the negative impact of recent cuts to programs and services that are so valuable to our children. She is an excellent advocate for our schools, and we would be lucky to have her on our School Board.

Judy is well-spoken, passionate, incredibly sensible, thoughtful, and will do her best to ensure our students and teachers have what they need to keep our School District a top performer, which will reflect positively on our property values. Please place your WRITE-IN vote for Judy Lofton on November 3rd. Instructions for writing in a candidate can be found at http://tinyurl.com/judylofton
