Man reportedly stole TV from CVS Pharmacy in Skippack

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a reported theft from the in Skippack Township Sunday afternoon.

According to a police report, a CVS employee saw a male customer take a 13” LCD TV and place it in a bag. The man “then walked past all points of sale and exited without paying for the merchandise,” the report states. He left in a green Oldsmobile sedan, the report indicates.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall, 260-pound black male with a mustache and a stud earring in his left ear. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and possibly a bandanna with a hat on top.

Skippack man faces simple assault charges

Marc Moyer, 33, of Skippack, is accused of simple assault and harassment after allegedly punching a woman in the mouth last month.

Moyer was arrested on the scene — the 400 block of Reginald Lane in Skippack— after the alleged assault Jan. 23. The report states the 31-year-old Reading woman suffered a cracked tooth and a bloody lip.

Lansdale woman accused of DUI

Jenna Sperling, 35, of Lansdale, is facing DUI charges after allegedly driving onto a front lawn she mistook for a parking lot Saturday.

A Pennsylvania State trooper reportedly observed Sperling traveling on Route 113 in Skippack shortly after midnight. According to police, Sperling was “driving on the shoulder of the road, almost in the ditch.”

Sperling then allegedly drove onto a snow-covered front lawn in the 1200 block of Bridge Road because she thought it was a snow-covered parking lot, the report states.

“Her vehicle became stuck in the snow,” according to the report, and Sperling allegedly “exhibited signs of being under the influence of alcohol.” She was arrested for DUI, according to police.
