Montco's Adorable Pet Of The Week: Call Him Maurice
Maurice is no joker, but this majestic canine deserves to find the family that appreciates his soul.

PERKIOMENVILLE, PA — Just as not every human has the same temperament and patience, so too are canines made of all stripes and molds.
Such is the case with Maurice, a very powerful gray and white Staffordshire currently at the Montgomery County SPCA's Perkiomenville facility.
The roughly four-year-old pup arrived at the shelter on Feb. 17. He has his quirks: he is not a big fan of other dogs, and staff note he'd probably be best in a home where there are no other animals and no small children. This is mostly due to how strong and stocky he is.

That said, the shelter notes that because he arrived at the facility as a stray, his full history is not known, so it's simply unclear how he would react in the future with younger children or other animals.
However, he has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, and is ready to find his forever family.
