What’s Happening Today

Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy presents "Feathered Friends!"  Students learn about a variety of birds, focusing on behavior and characteristics through stories, songs, natural history artifacts, and games. Animal Adventure Hours are designed for 3- to 6-year olds.  Pre-registration is required, $7 per person.

First-ever lunchtime concert series with a performance by Avalare String Quartet, featuring CMS violin instructor Valerie Vuolo.  Pick up your box lunch at a local eatery or bring from home. Bottled water and coffee/tea will be provided. Free; donations appreciated.
• : Montgomery County Young Democrats will meet for happy hour, on the third Thursday of each month 21 at 5:30 p.m., at Houhlihan's restaurant in Plymouth Meeting. All registered Democrats 18-35 who live in (or are registered to vote in) Montgomery County are welcome to attend.

Schwenksville’s Halloween Parade is Thursday, Oct. 27 from 7 to 9 p.m.  The parade route is along 2nd Avenue, concluding in the post office parking lot. Free food and entertainment.
