Perkiomen Valley School Board Completes Shakeup
The new membership of the Perkiomen Valley School Board has been set. The series of events that led to it was unexpected.

PERKIOMEN VALLEY, PA -- The Perkiomen Valley School District will swear in its new board membership on Dec. 4. This ceremony will end what has been what has been a particularly eventful journey to get there.
Sarah Evans-Brockett will take the vacancy left by Ann Mantey after Mantey resigned at the Nov. 13 board meeting. Evans-Brockett was the runner-up in the special election held on Nov. 21 to replace Mantey, but the former secured the seat after the leading vote-getter also resigned.
Board president Rich Bouher originally volunteered himself to run for Mantey's seat, but soon after discovering he had earned the most votes to take the seat, he resigned from the board altogether.
