Police Investigating Report of Attempted Burglary on Schwenksville Road

An incident report does not signify a conviction. All accused are innocent until proven guilty.

A side door of a residence in the 100 block of Schwenksville Road, Upper Salford, was forced open during a reported attempted burglary, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report. Damage to the door is approximately $500, police said.

Police: Perkiomenville Man Accused of DUI, Wanted on Warrant
A 27-year-old Perkiomenville man who allegedly fled the scene of a one-vehicle crash in the 1200 block of Perkiomenville Road, will face charges, including driving under the influence, in connection with the incident, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report.
Ryan Deeny was traveling "at a high rate of speed while entering a left curve in the roadway," when Deeny lost control of the car and it began to rotate in a counter-clockwise direction, the report states. The car moved across the southbound lane before hitting a dirt gully and embankment, police said.
Deeny allegedly fled the scene, and police later found him at his residence, according to the report.
Police allege that during questioning Deeny "exhibited signs of alcohol impairment," and he also reportedly had an active probation warrant out of Lehigh County. Deeny was taken into custody.
