PVHS to Present "Anything Goes" April 5-8

Tickets are $10

Perkiomen Valley High School is proud to present a production of the Broadway musical, “Anything Goes”, from April 5 through April 8 at Perkiomen Valley Middle School East’s Spahr Auditorium.

A free performance for senior citizens will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, followed by shows at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 8. Tickets are $10 and can be ordered in advance using this form, or may be available at the door.

“Anything Goes” is a hilarious shipboard romp, full of music, dance, laughs, and the age-old tale of boy-meets-girl wrapped around one of Cole Porter’s most magical scores. The book by Guy Bolton, P. G. Wodehouse, Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse sets the story in 1933 onboard a luxury liner bound for England. The ship is full of zany characters ranging from society elites and businessmen, to a club singer, dancers, con artists and gangsters in a crazy and deceptive pursuit for love and money. The show features such classic Cole Porter songs as “It’s De-Lovely,” “I Get A Kick Out Of You,” “Anything Goes,” “You’re The Top,” “Blow, Gabriel, Blow” and “Let’s Misbehave.”
