Police: Former Montco DA Marino Injured in Altercation

Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate incident

Former Montgomery County DA Michael Marino was treated for a "closed head wound" he suffered in an assault on his Skippack property, Sunday, May 27, according to a report.

Troopers and Skippack EMS responded to the incident on Anders Road. Witnesses reported a Department of Conservation and Natural Resources officer was conducting a traffic stop in the ranch's parking lot when Marino "questioned what the officer was doing." An argument ensued, and Marino was injured, according to the police report.

Marino was treated at Abington Memorial Hospital.

The investigation continues, as police are still conducting witness interviews, according to the report. The officer's identity is being witheld if and until an arrest is made, police said.
