SEPTA Opens More Stations For Pope Visit In Reponse To Demand: Reports

The stations will reportedly be added along the Broad Street Line and the Market-Frankford "L" Line.

In response to public demand and the expected crowds, SEPTA is doubling the number of stations that will be open during the Papal visit, according to Philly.com.

The stations will be added along the Broad Street Line and the Market-Frankford “L” Line, the report states.

On the Market-Frankford Line, both 8th street and 34th street will now be open.

PATCO reportedly has no plans to expand their service. Trains will head straight to 9th/10th street station.
