Skippack Farmers' Market wraps up 2010

Local vendors, shoppers turn out for last event before spring.

A small but steady crowd stopped by the Skippack Farmers' Market on Sunday morning. The near-winter weather moved the location to inside the 4-H Center on Bridge Road instead of its usual outdoor space along Route 73/Skippack Pike near the intersection with Route 113.

The market was open from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is the last market of the season until spring 2011.

Vendors included ICED by Betsy cupcakes, Woodsong Hollow Farm, Saint Peter's Bakery, Ridge Valley Maple Syrup and Kay Bryant, who brought her assortment of handmade clothes, bags and jewelry.
