Teen Goes Missing Walking Home From High School In Montco: Cops

The teen who went missing on Tuesday walking home from school has been found dead.

Update: Maryann Dyer was found dead on Wednesday, police confirmed. There is no indication that there is a threat to the community, according to authorities.

PENNSBURG, PA — A Montgomery County teen has gone missing after last contacting her mother on her walk home from school on Tuesday.

Maryann Dyer, 16, was walking home from Upper Perkiomen High School at around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10 when she called her mom, police said.

Around the same time, Dyer was seen walking east on 11th Street in Red Hill.

Police looked at surveillance cameras from Dyer's home, which confirmed that she never made back to the house.

Dyer is 5 feet tall and weighs 98 pounds. She has black hair and green eyes.
