2 Charged For Meth Lab Found Outside Walmart: Report
In 2016, police discovered a meth lab in a car parked at a Walmart store in Washington, Pa.

WASHINGTON, PA — Two residents of the area are facing charges stemming from the discovery last year of a meth lab in a car parked at a local Walmart, according to a media report. Firefighters and a team of lab technicians from the State Police dismantled the meth lab at the scene because of the possibility of an explosion, KDKA-TV CBS2 reported.
The South Strabane Township Police Department filed charges this week against Jody Bogol, 41, of Washington, Pa., and Eva Kovach, 38, of Brownsville, in Fayette County, KDKA-TV reported. The charges include operating a meth lab, manufacturing meth with the intent to deliver it and risking catastrophe.
Bogol is being held in the Washington County Correctional Facility, according to the jail's website. Kovach is out on bond, and the two are scheduled for preliminary hearings on Oct. 10, KDKA-TV reported.

On the night of Oct. 13, 2016, South Strabane police officers discovered the meth lab in the trunk of a car parked at the Walmart store at 30 Trinity Point Drive. They were responding to a report of people using drugs in the car, according to KDKA-TV.
The officers called firefighters to the scene because the trunk contained explosive materials that posed a danger to the public, especially when the car was driven on local roads. The ingredients are used to convert a common cold medicine into methamphetamine, KDKA reported.
