85 Peters Township High School Students Inducted into National Honor Society

Earlier this week, 85 Peters Township High School students were inducted into the National Honor Society.

"These outstanding students represent not only the high academic standards of the organization, but the ideals of character, service and leadership as well," a district spokeswoman said.

According to the National Honor Society website, membership is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have attended the school for the equivalent of one semester and who have grade point average of 3.8.

Students who meet the attendance and scholastic requirements are then evaluated by faculty on the basis of leadership, service and character. Once they are inducted, members must maintain these standards.
