
With temperatures soaring into the 90s this week, emergency cooling stations have been set up in Washington County to help keep seniors from having to endure the sweltering heat.
The Southwest PA Agency announced the following schedule. The stations will be operational through Thursday:
- Canonsburg Senior Center- 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Burgettstown Senior Center- 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Washington Senior Center- 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Riverside Place (Charleroi) 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.                     Â
- Monongahela Senior Center 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Center in the Woods- 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
