Delta to Begin 2 New International Routes from Pittsburgh
The non-stop flights are set to begin at Pittsburgh International Airport in December.

Delta Air Lines will add two more international destinations from Pittsburgh International Airport beginning on Saturday, Dec. 21.
The two routes now available for booking are Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and Nassau, Bahamas.Â

"These new non-stop flights will provide much-needed access to popular Caribbean destinations for our business and leisure travelers," said Rich Fitzgerald, Allegheny County chief executive. "We are thrilled that Delta has committed these resources to the region and are pleased to provide these new routes."
Delta Air Lines is Pittsburgh's largest international carrier and has offered non-stop Pittsburgh-to-Paris service for five years.

Delta also serves seven other U.S. destinations: Atlanta (eight/day), Cincinnati (three/day), Detroit (seven/day), New York-JFK (three/day), New York-LGA (six/day), Memphis (two/day) and Minneapolis (four/day).
Schedules for the new non-stop routes are as follows:
PIT to Nassau Service (Saturdays only)
Departs Pittsburgh 8:30 a.m.
Arrives Nassau 11:20 a.m.

Departs Nassau Noon
Arrives Pittsburgh 3 p.m.
PIT to Punta Cana (Saturdays only)
Departs Pittsburgh 8:30 a.m.
Arrives Punta Cana 1:20 p.m.
----
Departs Punta Cana 2:20 p.m.
Arrives Pittsburgh 5:20 p.m.
Delta and Aeromexico have also joint-filed with the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Mexican government to add scheduled non-stop service from Pittsburgh to Cancun, Mexico. Pending approval, Delta will announce a flight schedule for this third Caribbean destination.
