The entertainment lineup at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino in August is sure to please the fans of The Rat Pack, Elvis, John Mellencamp and Journey. Â
Weekend entertainment also includes a mix of national and local performers. Â
All shows are free admission.
And the fun starts Friday, with the popular local band, Velveeta.
Here's the schedule of events slated for Silks Lounge at The Meadows this month:
- Aug. 2:Â Velveeta, 8 p.m.
- Aug 3:Â Sydney Hutchko, 9 p.m.
- Aug. 9: PGH Band, 8 p.m.
- Aug. 10: Bo Wagner’s Rat Pack, 8 p.m.
- Aug. 16:Â Tres Lads, 8 p.m.
- Aug. 17:Â Walt Sanders & the Cadillac Band, 9 p.m.
- Aug. 23:Â Â Jimbo & the Soupbones, 8 p.m.
- Aug. 24: Totally 80’s, 8 p.m.
- Aug. 30:Â Ruff Creek, 8 p.m.
- Aug. 31:Â Idol Kings, 8 p.m.
But the entertainment isn't exclusive to Silks Lounge.
There will also weekly events at Pacers Lounge.
At 9 p.m. every Friday in August, disc jockey AJ Fresh will battle it out with a country artist. At 9 p.m. Saturday, AJ Fresh and his Fresh Girl-Club Music will perform.
