Elderly Man Killled In Peters Township Blaze
A second person was hospitalized in the Thursday night fire.
PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - An elderly man was killed and another person hospitalized after a fire broke out late Thursday in a home at 269 Bower Hill Road.
The victim was identified as William Phillips, 84. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 1 a.m., about two hours after the blaze was reported.
The name of the person hospitalized has not been released
KDKA-TV reported the State Police Fire Marshal will be on the scene Friday to investigate the cause of the fatal fire.
