Electrical Work To Cause Traffic Headaches In Peters

PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - An electrical upgrade on Thompsonville Road Wednesday will require a significant amount of West Penn Power activity around the intersection of East McMurray-Thompsonville-Bebout roads.
The township plans to put the traffic signal into “flash’ mode during the project, which will begin around 8:45 a.m. and should be completed by 8 p.m. The intersection will remain open at all times and West Penn will provide flaggers and handle traffic control while the work is performed.
The signal will be placed back into its normal operating mode when the work is done.
