Five Things You Need to Know This Week

Here are five things you need to know this week:

1. Peters Township Council will meet for its regular monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the municipal building.

2. The Peters Township steering committee dealing the the community's comprehensive plan will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the municipal building. The meeting will be held in council chambers.

3. The sale of Kennywood tickets for the Peters Township School District's annual picnic will begin Thursday. Click here for more information.

5. Applications for the Freddie Fu Scholarship Program 2013 for Juniors must be postmarked by Saturday. The scholarship program was developed to increase student interest in a career in sports medicine. The winner receives a scholarship and internship. For more information, click here.
